Tata Power, the country’s largest integrated power company and the fastest growing distribution company in the city has added around 26,536 consumers in less than 3 months since its acquisition camps for residential customers. The company had embarked on a massive acquisition campaign through multiple camps across the city in line with its plans to rapidly expand its residential customer base in Mumbai.
From January 01, 2013 till date, Tata Power received applications from more than 37,613 consumers after successfully completing four phases of the campaign. From these 26,536 applications have successfully completed the changeover process and are made valuable customers of Tata Power. The company at present is receiving around 10,000 to 15,000 applications for switchovers per month.
Besides, the company has also launched several demand side management programmes for its residential customers building awareness on energy efficient refrigerators, ACs and fans to help them conserve energy and save cost.
