Private equity firms Norwest Venture Partners and ICICI Ventures have offloaded a combined stake of 1.49% in Chennai-based Shriram City Union Finance (SCUF) for about Rs 95 crore. Norwest Venture Partners X FII - Mauritius sold 394,009 shares at a price of Rs 1,230 a share aggregating over Rs 48.46 crore while, India Advantage Fund VI (ICICI Venture) sold 3.70 lakh shares worth Rs 45.54 crore.
Meanwhile, major buyer of the stocks was Hong Kong based hedge fund Steadview Capital Mauritius which bought 3.98 lakh shares on NSE and 4.12 lakh shares on the BSE at a price of 12276.76 a share and Rs 1229.21 a share, respectively.
