Mahindra Satyam has developed digitization modules in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, healthcare, energy and retail sectors, in association with Tech Mahindra. It has developed these modules around new technology, which showcase how a digitized pharma or manufacturing or a retail firm will look like and work.
Both the companies have taken this decision after considering the emerging opportunities in NMACS (an acronym of networks, mobility, analytics, cloud, security). NMACS is a new disruptive technology, which forces the companies to digitize a variety of activities, both internal and customer-facing, to bring in intelligence to machines. So they formed a team of about 4,000 to identify the potential and develop products under its Digital Enterprise Solution offerings.
