Sobha Developers, a real estate firm has attained 30% increase in the sales bookings at Rs 2,215 crore in FY2012-13 against sale of properties worth Rs 1,701 crore during 2011-12 fiscal. The entity has sold 3.76 million sq ft of area during 2012-13 fiscal, in terms of volume, against 3.28 million sq ft in the previous year. The company has achieved this growth on the back of increasing volume as well as sales realisation.
The average price realisation has risen to Rs 5,897 per sq ft in the last fiscal from Rs 5,181 per sq ft in the previous year. At the beginning of last fiscal, Sobha Developers had set the target of new sales at Rs 2,000 crore comprising 3.75 million sq ft area.
Sobha has presence in seven cities -- Bangalore, Gurgaon, Chennai, Pune, Coimbatore, Mysore and Thrissur. It has completed 83 projects aggregating to 20.78 million sq ft of saleable area and is presently developing 43 projects with 17.4 million sq ft of saleable area.
