Balaji Amines soars on commissioning new plant for manufacture of Di-Methyl Formamide

Balaji Amines is currently trading at Rs. 39.70, up by 1.25 points or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 38.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 38.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 39.70 and Rs. 38.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 66.70 on 25-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 34.35 on 01-Apr-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 41.80 and Rs. 37.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 123.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.87% while Non-Institutions held 46.13% stake in the company.

Balaji Amines has successfully commissioned new plant for the manufacture of Di-Methyl Formamide with an installed capacity of 100 M.T. per day on March 30, 2013. Balaji Amines is engaged in manufacturing of methylamines, ethylamines, derivatives of specialty chemicals and natural products.

The company also manufactures derivatives, which are downstream products for various Pharma /Pesticide industries apart from user specific requirements.
