Tata Motors wins ‘Indian Multinational of the Year’ award

Tata Motors has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Indian Multinational of the Year’ award at the AIMA Managing India Awards 2013, held on April 11, 2013, in New Delhi. The company received the award from the President of India.

AIMA established the Managing India Awards to promote management teams in every sphere of life involving varied fields, which reflect the state of advanced development in an economy. This award aims to recognize the contributions of stalwarts who have set benchmarks of excellence in their respective spheres.

Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company, with consolidated revenues of Rs 1, 65,654 crore ($32.5 billion) in 2011-12. It is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segments. It is also the world's fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer.
