Surana Industries’ workers at integrated steel plant at Raichur, in Karnataka went on illegal strike. The company is in talks with workers, pertaining to their various demands, which includes benefits of kith and kin. This strike has led to temporary disruption in operation at the plant.

Surana Industries is one of the major TMT (thermo mechanically treated) bars manufacturer located in Chennai and sourced Eurotherm DEL India Limited to modernize their plant located at Gummidipoondi around 45KM from chennai.
