Valecha Engineering surges on bagging projects worth Rs 316.87 crore

Valecha Engineering is currently trading at Rs. 50.55, up by 3.90 points or 8.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 46.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 48.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 50.55 and Rs. 48.40 respectively. So far 4,376 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 67.80 on 16-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 42.50 on 25-Mar-2013.

The current market cap of the company is Rs. 98.00 crore.

Valecha Engineering, a leading infrastructure development company has bagged projects worth Rs. 316.87 crore. The project is for construction of Rafti Main Canal and its distribution system including all earth work and Pucca works between KM 114.00 to 125.682 in Uttar Pradesh.

Valecha Engineering is engaged in the construction of major infrastructure and engineering projects such as irrigation dams, reservoirs and canals, roads, highways and expressways, bridges and tunnels, railways, airports and foundation and piling works.
