Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Clause 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of SEBI Listing Regulations, Hindustan Zinc has submitted the details of Order-in-Original no. 17/GST-Dem/CGSTD-A/2023 dated October 04, 2023 issued to the Company by Assistant Commissioner, Div-A, Central GST Audit Circle, CGST, Udaipur which levied penalty for wrongly availed Input Tax Credit under Section 74(9) of the CGST Act 2017 read with corresponding provisions of the SGST Act, 2017 and Section 20 of IGST Act, 2017. Based on the Company’s assessment and prevailing law, the Company is hopeful of a favourable outcome at the appellate level and does not expect the said Order to have any material financial impact on the Company. The Order dated October 04, 2023 has been received by the Company on October 08, 2023. The details as required under SEBI Listing Regulations read with Circular no. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD1/P-CIR//2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 are enclosed as Annexure A.
