Lemon Tree Hotels signs new property in Uttarakhand

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed new property in Badrinath, Uttarakhand. The property is expected to open by FY25 and shall be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels.

Situated along the banks of the Alakananda River in Uttarakhand, Badrinath is one of the four holy ‘Dhams’ revered by Hindus. Famous for its temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the city enjoys a tranquil and idyllic vibe. Besides the famous Badrinath Temple, the city also has the Tapt Kund, a natural thermal spring with medicinal properties. One can also trek to the base of the Nilkantha Peak, which is said to receive the first rays of the sun every day at dawn and offers a splendid backdrop for the Badrinath Temple.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Badrinath will feature 72 well-appointed rooms, one restaurant and other public areas. The Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun is about 305 kms while the Rishikesh Railway Station is about 290 kms away. The hotel is also well connected by roadways for both public and private transport.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
