M&M sells over 1 lakh pick-up trucks in FY13

Mahindra & Mahindra, country’s largest popular utility vehicles maker has sold more than one lakh pick-up trucks in the domestic market during FY2012-13. Domestic sales during the year stood at 102,885 units as against 73,134 units during FY2011-12.

Currently in the pick-up segment, India sells more than 15,000 vehicles per month, and M&M has 54% market share. The company has four brands Bolero Maxi Truck, Bolero Pick Up, Bolero Camper and Genio in the domestic market.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
