Manipal-based public sector lender, Syndicate Bank has opened its 75th branch at B.C. Road Town in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. The branch was formally inaugurated by M.G. Sanghvi, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank. The bank is also planning to enter into an agreement with Life Insurance Corporation of India to distribute its product through bank’s network.
Syndicate Bank has a network of 2,709 branches and 1,240 ATMs as on March 31, 2012. The bank has branches in all the states except Manipur and in all the Union Territories except Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. SB has an international branch at London.
