The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed acquisition of 20.51% equity shares of Indo Rama Synthetics (India) (IRSL) by Aloke Lohia from Brookgrange Investment and transfer of 20.51% equity shares of IRSL to Urmila Lohia by Aloke Lohia. Aloke Lohia and Urmila Lohia are natural persons and promoters of IRSL.
Indo Rama Synthetics is India's largest dedicated polyester manufacturer. Its largest product gamut comprises of Polyester Stable Fibre (PSF), Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY), Draw Texturised Yarn (DTY), Fully Drawn Yarn and Textile Grade Chips.
