Ceat’s Nasik factory workers resorted to illegal strike

Ceat has reported an incident of strike at its Nasik factory. There had been a fight between few workmen on September 30, 2011, on account of personal rivalry between them. Due to provocations during the said fight, the workmen resorted to a flash illegal strike. A dialogue is onto resolve the issue and return to normalcy at the earliest.

Ceat is among the best tyre manufacturers in India. Besides tyres, the company also manufactures and markets tubes and flaps. It manufactures a wide range of tyres for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, tractors and tippers and trucks.
