Allahabad Bank trades in green on BSE

Allahabad Bank is currently trading at Rs 138.20, up by 0.85 points or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs 137.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 138.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs 139.90 and Rs 137.65 respectively. So far 34734 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 190.80 on 18-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 103.00 on 22-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 141.70 and Rs 132.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 6905.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.24% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.50% and 13.26% respectively.

Credit rating agency, India Ratings & Research has affirmed Allahabad Bank’s Long-Term Issuer rating at ‘AA’ with stable outlook. The rating agency has also assigned an ‘AA Unsolicited’ rating on the bank’s Rs 500 crore lower tier II 10 year subordinated debt with 10.0% coupon issued on Sept 25, 2007.

The bank has received the said rating affirmation on the back of its continued reasonable funding and liquidity profile, adequate capitalisation and a strong regional franchise in the northern and eastern India with increasing pan-India coverage.
