Maruti Suzuki conducts campaign for Dzire to avert Amaze competition

Maruti Suzuki, country’s largest car maker has conducted mileage drive rally for its entry level sedan 'Dzire' across 31 cities on April 28, 2013. Through this initiative, automaker aims to avert competition from Honda’s Amaze. The entity is celebrating the 5th year of the Dzire. In the last five years, Dzire has been the largest selling sedan in India and the company intends to maintain the leadership position.

So far, the Dzire has sold a total of 5.5 lakh units of the model. Dzire’s is witnessing competition from Honda Cars India’s newly launched Amaze which is coming at a price range of Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
