Afrin Dia has purchased 11.77 lakh shares of the private sector lender IndusInd Bank for over Rs 53 crore. The foreign institutional investor bought 11.77 lakh shares of the bank from Societe Bancaire Privee SA through open market transactions. The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 455 valuing the transaction at Rs 53.55 crore.
Earlier this month, Afrin Dia had purchased 13.40 lakh shares of IndusInd Bank from Societe Bancaire Privee SA for Rs 54 crore. At the end of March quarter, Afrin Dia, a sub-account of Icon Capital, held 1.29 crore shares, amounting to 2.47% stake in the bank.
