Arrow Coated Products (ACPL) has received a grant for patent titled ‘Multilayered Films’ Patent No. 1467864, from Europe Patent Office. The invention strengthens the Water Soluble Film (WSF) technology, and is important to end users, as a generic film can be made and stored in bulk and an inert barrier coating, again a speciality of ACPL, can be done on demand, as per the materials to be packaged. This invention will make WSF most suited for a variety of applications including packaging of Liquid, acidic and Alkaline detergents, pharmaceuticals, agro-chemicals, liquid/greasy food products etc.
ACPL is a pioneer in manufacturing Water Soluble Film by a unique method using detachable liners. Arrow's RND department has many years experience in Coatings, Security Printing, and casting films, since many years. This European patent, along with ACPL's previous patents in Security Film, can effectively be used in Brand Protection and controlling counterfeits and grey market diversions of branded products-
ACPL has a total of 27 Granted Patents in India, US, Europe, Eurasia, Africa, and Australia. Arrow is prosecuting several other patents in other countries.
