Finolex Industries has informed that an order dated 28th December, 2023 from Joint Commissioner of CGST, Pune -I Commissionerate, Pune is received by the Company on 2nd January, 2024 for the tax demand of Rs 1,25,29,080 (which was already paid by the Company and appropriated against the demand) and levied a penalty of Rs 12,52,908 under Section 73(9) and interest of Rs 26,56,851 under Section 50 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (CGST Act, 2017).
