Adani Power reports net loss of Rs 585.52 crore in Q4 consolidated

Adani Power has reported results for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013.

The company has reported a net loss of Rs 426.57 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 as compared to a net loss of Rs 290.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  However, total income has increased by 74.78% at Rs 1746.88 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 999.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 585.52 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 as compared to a net loss of Rs 292.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  However, total income has increased by 79.02% at Rs 1889.13 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 1055.26 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

For the full year ended March 31, 2013, the company has posted net loss of Rs 1952.03 crore as compared to the net loss of Rs 293.92 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 60.28% at Rs 6332.98 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3951.27 crore for the period ended March 31, 2012.

On consolidated basis, for the full year ended March 31, 2013, the company has posted net loss of Rs 2295.01 crore as compared to the net loss of Rs 294.50 crore for the same period in the previous year.  However, total income has increased by 65.67% at Rs 6779.36 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4092.16 crore for the period ended March 31, 2012.
