Karur Vysya Bank has inaugurated three new branches - two in Tamil Nadu and one in Andhra Pradesh. With this, the total branch network of the Bank increased to 834. The bank has opened 832nd branch at Atmakur, Nandyal District, Andhra Pradesh, 833rd branch at Usilampatti, Madurai District, Tamil Nadu and 834th branch at Mathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Karur Vysya Bank is among six old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
