Apollo Tyres reports 22.12% rise in Q4 net profit

Apollo Tyres has reported results for the fourth quarter & year ended March 31, 2013.

The company has reported a rise of 22.12% in its net profit at Rs 88.23 crore in Q4FY13 as compared to net profit of Rs 72.25 crore in the same quarter previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 9.18% to Rs 2060.94 crore as compared to Rs 2269.26 crore in corresponding quarter last year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 9.66% in its net profit at Rs 141.78 crore in Q4FY13 as compared to net profit of Rs 156.95 crore in the same quarter previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 5.12% to Rs 3081.62 crore as compared to Rs 3248.03 crore in corresponding quarter last year.

For the year ended March 31, 2013, the company has registered 72.35% rise in its net profit at Rs 312.52 crore in FY13 as against Rs 181.33 crore in previous years. Total income of the company has increased to Rs 8564.86 crore as compared to Rs 8176.06 crore in FY12, up by 4.75%.

On consolidated basis, the group has registered 49.45% rise in its net profit at Rs 612.60 crore in FY13 as against Rs 409.89 crore in previous year. Total income of the company has increased to Rs 12889.08 crore as compared to Rs 12185.92 crore in FY12, up by 5.77%.
