BEML, a premier Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defence, has celebrated its 49th Foundation Day on May 11, 2013 at all its units in Bangalore, Kolar Gold Fields, Mysore, Palakkad and its Corporate Office at Bangalore. The celebrations marked hoisting of BEML Flag at all the celebration venues by the respective senior most employees followed by speeches. On the occasion, BEML awards were presented to the outstanding performance of employees.
Further, the CMD of the company stressed upon the need to improve and maintain quality standards in the products to garner more markets for the company’s products. The CMD was also optimistic in attaining new benchmarks in performance, sales and profits of the company during the year 2013-14.
