Electrosteel Steels to ink offtake agreement with Electrosteel Castings

Electrosteel Steels will be inking an offtake agreement with the promoter of the company - Electrosteel Castings for sale of ductile iron pipe and pig iron. The company has received an approval for increasing the capacity of the integrated steel project including the ductile iron pipe plant from 2.2 MTPA to 2.51 MTPA.

The board at its meeting held on October 22, 2011 has approved for the above.

Electrosteel Steels is currently in the business of manufacturing spun pipes - DI Pipes, CI Pipes and DI fittings.
