Valecha Engineering gains on bagging projects worth Rs 118.90 crore

Valecha Engineering is currently trading at Rs. 47.50, up by 0.15 points or 0.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 47.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 47.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 48.30 and Rs. 47.50 respectively. So far 3,375 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 67.80 on 16-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 42.50 on 25-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 48.65 and Rs. 44.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 92.00 crore.

Valecha Engineering, a leading infrastructure development company has bagged projects worth Rs 118.90 crore. The first project is for construction of Bikram Chowk Flyover and Widening/Strengthening of Road from Bikram Chowk to Convent School in Jammu City worth Rs 64.30 crore. The second project is for construction of Residual work of approach channel (112 m) intake structure with tunnel at Jharkhand worth Rs 54.60 crore.

Valecha Engineering is engaged in the construction of major infrastructure and engineering projects such as irrigation dams, reservoirs and canals, roads, highways and expressways, bridges and tunnels, railways, airports and foundation and piling works.
