REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development & Consultancy has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary in the name of ERES-XXXIX Power Transmission. The said company is also subsidiary company of REC, in terms of the provisions of Section 2(87) of the Companies Act, 2013. The company has been incorporated to develop Transmission system for Eastern Region Expansion Scheme- XXXIX (ERES- XXXIX).
REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
