Realty firm Gaursons has bought 300 acre land from Jaypee Infratech for Rs 1,500 crore in Greater Noida. Gaursons and Saviour recently reported that it is jointly developing a 240-acre township in the Noida Extension with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore. Gaursons plans to develop about 25,000 housing units in the township 'Gaur City' over the next five years.
Jaypee Infratech was incorporated as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for implementation of 165 km long 6-lane Access-Controlled Yamuna Expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh connecting Noida and Agra.
