Karur Vysya Bank has informed that the tenure of Bank’s existing Joint Central Statutory Auditors viz., RGN Price & Co., Chartered Accountants (Firm Registration No. 002785S) and Sundaram & Srinivasan, Chartered Accountants (Firm Registration No. 004207S) will be completed in the ensuing (i.e.,105th) Annual General Meeting of the Bank. Further, in terms of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Guidelines on Appointment of Statutory Central Auditors, Bank has made an application with RBI for approving the appointment of new Joint Statutory Central Auditors. RBI vide letter dated April 19, 2024 has approved the names of Kalyaniwala & Mistry LLP, Chartered Accountants (Firm Registration No. 104607W/W100166) and Varma & Varma, Chartered Accountants (Firm Registration No. 004532S), as Joint Statutory Central Auditors of the Bank, for their first year i.e. FY 2024-25. The appointment of Joint Statutory Central Auditors will be subject to shareholders approval. The disclosures as required under SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 is enclosed as Annexure-I.
