In compliance with Reserve Bank of India (‘RBI’) circular RBI/2021-22/25 Ref.No.DoS.CO.ARG/ SEC.01/08.91.001/2021-22 dated 27th April 2021 on Appointment of Statutory Auditors, Jana Small Finance has informed that the Bank’s existing Statutory Auditors, Brahmayya & Co., Chartered Accountants (FRN: 000515S) and M M Nissim & Co LLP, Chartered Accountant (FRN: 107122W/W100672) will be completing their tenure in the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Bank. The Board of Directors of the Bank had proposed the appointment of S R Batliboi & Associates LLP, Chartered Accountants (FRN: 101049W/E300004) and Batliboi & Purohit, Chartered Accountants (FRN: 101048W) and made an application to RBI for the approval of appointment of Joint Statutory Auditors in Compliance with Section 30 (1A) of Banking Regulation Act, 1949. Accordingly, RBI vide their letter dated 12th April 2024, received by the Bank on 15th April 2024, has approved the appointment of above-mentioned Joint Statutory Auditors for the year 2024-25 for their first year. Further, Bank shall obtain necessary approvals from Shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
