CESC has informed that at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company held on May 28, 2013, Aniruddha Basu, Companys Executive Director, has been appointed as an additional director with the designation Whole-time Director of the Company. The Board has also decided that Basu will take over as Managing Director for a term of five years from August 01, 2013 in place of Sumantra Banerjee, whose term as Managing Director expires on July 31, 2013.
