Central Bank of India reports 38% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Central Bank of India has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2024.

The bank has reported 41.38% rise in its net profit at Rs 807.34 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 571.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 13.20% at Rs 9,698.74 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 8,567.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the bank has reported 38.12% rise in its net profit at Rs 816.29 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 591.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 13.25% at Rs 9,734.30 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 8,595.68 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2024, the bank has reported 61.11% rise in its net profit at Rs 2,549.06 crore as compared to Rs 1,582.20 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 19.60% at Rs 35,433.51 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 29625.60 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, on the consolidated basis, the bank has reported 58.91% rise in its net profit at Rs 2,667.68 crore as compared to Rs 1,678.78 crore for the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 19.57% at Rs 35,561.98 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 29,741.59 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.
