Escorts, one of India's leading engineering conglomerates’ Agri Machinery Segment (EAM) sold 6,122 tractors in the domestic market, a growth of 18% against 5,190 tractors in May 2012. The total tractor sales including both the domestic sales and export in May 2013 stood at 6,188 units as against 5,284 tractors sold in the month of May 2012.
Escorts offer a comprehensive range of tractors with more than 45 variants starting from 25 to 80 HP. The company also manufactures and markets a diverse range of equipments like cranes, loaders, vibratory rollers and forklifts.
