Lanco Infratech jumps on bagging EPC contract worth Rs 3293.96 crore from GIPCL

Lanco Infratech is currently trading at Rs. 9.41, up by 0.65 points or 7.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 8.76 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9.64 and Rs. 9.13 respectively. So far 3,55,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 16.78 on 06-Jul-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.75 on 03-Jun-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 10.45 and Rs. 8.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,265.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.78% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.97% and 23.25% respectively.

Lanco Infratech’s (LITL) - EPC Division has been awarded the prestigious EPC Contract worth Rs 3293.96 crore by Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL), for their 2 x 300 MW Lignite based Thermal Power Project.

The scope of contract includes Off-shore Supplies, On-Shore Supplies, Civil and Structuring works and On-Shore Services Contract on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis.
