RRIL has received approval for setting up of a new Textile weaving plant at Tarapur in the state of Maharashtra with investment of Rs 37 crore. The setting up of new weaving plant will reduce outside dependence and utilize the company’s resources effectively. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on May 29, 2024, has approved the same.
RRIL has diversified its business into textile. The company has focused on trading in Textile fabrics, cotton yarns and undertakes redevelopment of residential properties in and around Mumbai.
