Eveready Industries, Kolkata-based electrical equipment company has launched a new range of powerful batteries ‘Eveready Ultima’. With the new launch, the company aims to bridge the gap between the ever-increasing need for battery life in portable gadgets and mobile devices, and the limited capacity of batteries available with portable devices like mobile phones, smartphones, tablets etc.
The product range consists of high power alkaline batteries, long lasting rechargeable batteries and series of portable chargers for mobile devices.
Eveready is largely involved in the production of batteries and lighting solutions, but is also in the tea business. It has a portfolio comprising ‘dry cell batteries (carbon zinc batteries, rechargeable batteries and alkaline batteries), flashlights (torches), CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Lamps) and packet tea.
