Hindustan Copper has reportedly increased basic price of copper products by 1.47 per cent for June. However, the company had cut prices of its all copper products by nearly 6 per cent in May.
Meanwhile, Copper futures for July delivery slid 1.1 % to $3.2325 per pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While Copper on the London Metal Exchange fell as much as 1.1 % to $7,151.25 a metric ton.
Hindustan Copper’s principal activities include mining of copper ore, concentration of copper ore into copper concentrate through a beneficiation process and also smelting, refining and extruding of the copper concentrate into refined copper in downstream saleable products.
