Tata Power installs RO plant, integrated water structure in Gujarat

Tata Power’s wholly owned subsidiary, Coastal Gujarat Power (CGPL), has been working towards mitigating the water related issues among communities living around its areas of operations. In line with this philosophy, the company has inaugurated a reverse osmosis (RO) plant of 1,000 litres per hour and an integrated water structure in Gundiyali village (Mandvi block), Gujarat, under its Swach Jal initiative.

The RO plant was installed with the objective to provide clean and safe drinking water to cater to the needs of 891 households. Being situated in the coastal region, the Kutch district faces the issue of obtaining safe drinking water. Along with the installation of the RO plant, Tata Power also inaugurated an integrated water structure in the village.
