TVS Motor starts operations in Myanmar

TVS Motor Company has launched its operations in Myanmar by inaugurating dealership at Mandalay in Myanmar. The motorcycles at the dealership comprise seven models from India and Indonesia.

TVS Neo, TVS Rockz and TVS Tormax will come from Indonesia, while TVS Apache RTR 160, TVS Wego, TVS Scooty Pep+ and TVS Scooty Streak are from India. The company already has dealerships in over 50 countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America.

TVS Motor Company is the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India and one among the top ten in the world. The company has a production capacity of 2.5 million units a year. Wego is a 110 cc scooter targeted at the urban young couples. The company’s other scooter brands are TVS Scooty Pep+ and TVS Scooty Streak aimed at female customers.
