Engineers India (EIL) has inaugurated RO Water Treatment Plant constructed at Kanchipuram, Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu on June 05, 2013. The company has invested Rs 1 crore in the plant, which will benefit 153,149 people, and the construction of the plant is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
This project included construction of RO Water Treatment Plant and associated facilities (Skid based unit) for Kancheepuram Municipality to produce 50M3/hour drinking quality water. Water received will be transferred to the RO skid which comprises of auto clean filter, chlorination, iron removal, De-chlorination system, micron filtration and RO units.
