Pokarna has informed that the US Department of Commerce (Commerce) has announced the preliminary results of its Second administrative review of quartz surfaces anti-dumping duty order. The Commerce has preliminarily determined that Pokarna Engineered Stone, a material wholly owned subsidiary of the Company (PESL) did not make sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value during the period of review (POR) June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023. Accordingly, PESL’s anti-dumping duty for the said period has been preliminarily determined to be 0%. These results do not take effect now, but may serve as an indication of the final duty rates the Commerce is expected to issue in December of 2024.
