Delta Corp declines on reporting 68% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Delta Corp is currently trading at Rs. 137.50, down by 5.35 points or 3.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 142.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 136.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 142.40 and Rs. 134.55 respectively. So far 500829 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 247.95 on 11-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 104.30 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 149.35 and Rs. 131.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3681.85 crore.

Delta Corp has reported 34.10% fall in its net profit at Rs 40.48 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 61.43 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 15.08% at Rs 153.07 crore for Q1FY25 as compared Rs 180.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 68.08% fall in net profit at Rs 21.68 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 67.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 28.31% at Rs 195.77 crore for Q1FY25 as compared Rs 273.09 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
