13 Jun 2013 Evaluate

The Supreme Court has stayed the Punjab and Haryana (P&H) High Court order restraining DLF from selling and marketing properties in one of its projects in Gurgaon and has fixed the matter for hearing on July 16, 2013.

The bench comprising justices Gyan Sudha Misra and Madan Lokur also issued a notice to Gurgaon-based DLF Park Place Residents Welfare Association (RWA) on whose petition the High Court had restrained DLF.

The RWA alleged that the realty firm on May 21 launched a group housing project 'The Crest' within the floor area ratio of 'The Park Place' society to which the land rightfully belonged.
