Infra stocks jump as govt to provide Rs 26,000 crore boost to road connectivity projects

Shares of infrastructure companies jumped after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government will provide Rs 26,000 crore boost to road connectivity projects.

IRB Infrastructure Developers is currently trading at Rs. 68.38, up by 0.58 points or 0.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 67.80 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 68.39 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 69.54 and Rs. 67.72 respectively. So far 1866796 shares were traded on the counter.
