Sakthi Sugars sees 20% fall in production in coming year

Sakthi Sugars, which reported 10% fall in sugar production this year, expects the production to further drop by 20%. Currently the entire sugar industry has hit a rough patch, given that the government has not done anything to increase sugar prices.

Sakthi Sugars is one of the largest producers of sugar in India with a capacity of over 13,500 tonnes of cane crushing per day. It has units / plants in the states of Tamil Nadu and Orissa.
