Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed 200-key greenfield Taj hotel in Ranchi, Jharkhand. This greenfield project, marking IHCL's foray into Ranchi, is set to be developed on a six-acre land parcel leased from the state government. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have six hotels in Jharkhand, including one under development.

Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, midmarket and value segments of the market.
