Rekha Jhunjhunwala, wife of ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, has sold 4 lakh shares amounting to 0.56% stake of rating agency CRISIL for over Rs 46 crore through an open market transaction. The shares were sold on an average price of Rs 1,158.6 valuing the transaction at Rs 46.34 crore.
As of the quarter ended March, the Jhunjhunwalas together held 54 lakh shares equivalent to 7.69% stake in the company.
CRISIL is a global analytical company providing ratings, research, and risk and policy advisory services. The company’s majority shareholder is Standard and Poor’s (S&P). S&P, a part of The McGraw-Hill Companies, is the world’s foremost provider of credit ratings.
