Pratibha Industries trades in green on bagging new orders

Pratibha Industries is currently trading at Rs. 32.80, up by 0.20 points or 0.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 32.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 32.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 34.15 and Rs. 32.50 respectively. So far 69,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 58.65 on 10-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 31.65 on 18-Jun-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 35.05 and Rs. 31.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 331 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.53%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.80% and 26.67% respectively.

Pratibha Industries has secured orders worth Rs 526.20 crore. In a joint venture with Va Tech Wabag the company has bagged a contract worth Rs 262 crore orders from Melamchi Water Supply Development Board, Nepal. The project has been funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This Project will treat water from the Melamchi River and discharge the treated water through pipeline upto battery limits. 

In the Building Division, the company has bagged a contract of Rs 264.20 crore from Bhartiya City Developers for the Construction of Housing Project ‘Nikoo Homes’ at Thannisandra Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru - Civil, Structural & Internal Finishing works. The project to be completed within 34 months envisages total built up area of approximately 32 lakh square feet.
