Adani Power, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has commissioned the third 660 MW unit of its thermal power plant at Tiroda in Maharashtra. Following the commissioning of the said unit, the total power generation capacity of the company reached 7,260 MW.
A unit of Adani Power, Adani Power Maharashtra, commissioned its first two units of 660 MW in last financial year 2012-13 and has current generation capacity of 1,980 MW. The Tiroda project will help Maharashtra meet its electricity demand.
