NTPC contributes Rs 3 crore for relief work at Uttarakhand

NTPC the largest power utility in the country is associating with Uttarakhand Govt. to provide relief to the flood ravaged State. The company has decided to contribute Rs 3 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The company has also stationed its helicopter in Dehradun at the disposal of the state government for using it for evacuation and relief work.

NTPC is the largest power generating company in the country. It has also diversified into hydro power, coal mining, power equipment manufacturing, oil & gas exploration, power trading & distribution.
