HMSI plans to sell 26,000 units of bike CB Trigger this fiscal in South India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) aims to sell 26,000 units of its new 150cc bike CB Trigger this fiscal in South India, including 7,000 units in Kerala. It is planning to sell 80,000 units pan India this fiscal.

By the end of this fiscal the two wheeler maker is likely to expand the capacity of its Bangalore manufacturing facility from 12 lakh units a year to 18 lakh, which will increase the total production to 46 lakh units a year including all the three factories.

HMSI has rolled out the new version of its entry level bike Dream Yuga priced at Rs 45,101 at ex-showroom in Delhi. This new bike is equipped with 'Honda Eco technology' which has helped in increasing fuel economy of the model to 74 kmpl from the previous 72 kmpl.
